Privacy

Last updated October 2026

Hooperly is a small game for your desktop and your browser. This page says what it does with your data, in plain words.

What stays on your computer

Your settings, score, achievements, chosen theme and license keys are stored on your own device: in the app's storage, or, in the browser version, in your browser's local storage. If you sign in (optional), your sign-in session is stored in your operating system keychain in the app, and in your browser's local storage in the browser version.

What goes over the internet

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time: open Leaderboard in the menu and choose "Delete my data". That removes your nickname, scores and saved progress from our server. Your game on your own device is kept. You can also email hooperly.game@gmail.com and we will remove it for you.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Polar, who acts as the seller (merchant of record). They collect your name, email and payment details and handle taxes. We receive your email address and order details so that we can give support. See Polar's privacy policy for how they handle your data.

This website

This website, and the browser version of the game, are hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may keep technical logs such as your IP address. We do not run analytics or advertising on it.
